Nothing to do with the title of the article at the moment, but like everything comes to point…
During an after-skiing and therefore consecutively to the fall of a smartphone in a beautiful field of powder snow, that the debate has been launched: the smartphone is it waterproof? Responses were also unclear that determined, each having its own definition of the tightness and knowing that IP65 means that water not entering (normally) the object immediately.

Index of protection: definition
Index of protection of an object (here an LED bulb), defines its resistance to the intrusion of solid and liquid body. This index is made up of two letters I and P (initial index of Protection, sisi I swear) and two digits, the first from 0 to 6 and determining the resistance of our bulb LED to the intrusion of solids, the second, from 0 to 8, allows to know the sealing of the latter to the liquids in general.
This definition gives us the following nomencalture, which is an international standard:
You may have guessed, this nomenclature is precise and defines a level of sealing based on usage of the object. In our case, an LED bulb may be considered in environment from an IP65.
